I saw the Richmond speech tonight on C-Span. Fred was excellent. He has a strong sense of the uniqueness of American in the History of the world. Fred really stated with conviction the precious gift that is Liberty. He was outstanding on immigration. I believe Fred can easily move to the top of the Republican field. Unlike many other candidates, Fred seems genuinely at ease at expresses the goodness of America. Fred is the real deal

I watched it right after the Democrat debate. The contrast was, to say the least, striking.

While I'm sure some people will find ways to pick apart his delivery, I think it hit exactly the right notes. This is a man who seems to understand just what it is that makes America great. What I took from this speech is that Fred has the intellect, understanding, conviction, and, yes, even the humility to be a great President.
