He’s a smuck and arrogant.

I was hoping that he would do some jail time. I could just image his roommie, Big Bubba, singing him to sleep, with “Bend Over Darling”.

o - this is Eric’s *** before going to jail.

O - this is Eric’s *** after a night in jail.

Guess you can tell I don’t like the guy. Gives us honest journalists a bad name.

“so I asked for a glass of wine”

I think that says it all. Also, he was upset that there was no Brie. Probably”summers” at Martha’s Vineyard.

Alterman said he “never raised his voice once” and identified himself as a journalist

Do you know who I am????

Odd, isn’t it, that the Democrats/CNN would not grant him amnesty despite his criminal tresspass?

He is the git who on election night 2000, claimed that because Gore had more popular votes than Bush, that the electoral college should make Gore president.

Tim Russert and Chris Matthews looked at him like he was insane.

He should count his blessings. What if he were arrested in Durham?

Media Matters for America then hired Alterman as a Senior Fellow

We went over to the commanding officer and I, calmly and politely, sought to explain that I didn’t know why this cop was continuing to hassle me.

Having read this arrogant ass's writing, I really doubt that he has ever spoked to anyone "calmly and politely".

This is a good example of padding your resume. Take note.

Also, how does an English professor become a consultant on history? I studied history, and that doesn’t make me an expert on English. I suppose he gets hired when the producers are looking for a left-wing consultant.

Eric Alterman is the main reason I stopped watching C-Span!! They had him on all the time, and he is one of the most REPULSIVE indiviuals I have ever seen. Typical Democrat....rude and snide.

What’s National Catholic Register doing giving this creepy guy any kudos? Must be left-wing Catholic paper.

A pig is a pig regardless of the political persuasion of their victims. A__hole cops should not be tolerated anywhere, even if the person refusing to bow and scrape before them is an a__hole Democrat partisan.

This is why people are getting prosecuted for videotaping cops without their consent here in New Hampshire.

From CNN
Alterman writes a column for “The Nation” and writes the “Altercation” blog for Media Matters
How appropriate

Alterman’s a real punk. He’s one of those far-left liars that claims the MSM is actually “conservative” because it’s not treasonous to satisfy him. His photo looks like a genuine 1918 Bolshevik.

Hmmn - he goes to teh bar, finds out is an “open bar” which implies that those bellying up to it are not charged for what they drink.

The writer never wondered if the bar was paid for by a particular group which had not invited him - and his lack of an invitation would seem to support this being the case.

Thus, when the first person came over and asked him to leave, there would be some reasonable chance that the request came from someone who was aware that Alterman was consuming drinks which were not supposed to be given to him.

But, “free drinks” is an irresistable lure to lawyers and writers.

Adendum to my last post - legitimate journalists won’t even accept a cup of coffee, lest they be seen as corrupt.
