Actually it appears that way because thescripts coming off of the word processors in the reporters office and the column inches being printed at the newspapers is TELLING people that it’s anti-immigrant...making us look like a bunch of bigoted nativists...instead of reporting the real cause for our unrest...ILLEGAL immigratoin.

The exclusion of that one word completely turns the direction and meaning of all the stories out there.

I have to disagree with this statement. I work with a lot of democratic union types and many of my relatives are left wingers but there is one thing they almost all agree on and that is illegal immigration. The dumb ones and the smart ones, the wealthy ones and the poor ones all are sick of seeing marches having some places in this country where Spanish is the only language and having the elitists tell them what is best for them. Illegal immigration is one issue where I think the majority of people are all getting on the same page. I know just using my circle of family friends and acquaintances is not scientific or a good indicator for the country as a whole but I have never seen them all talk about and agree with me and my friends, who are conservative, on any issue other than this.
