Larry rarely engages in bomb-throwing, cheap-shots, one-liners, name-calling, or hyperbole. He doesn't pontificate, but instead expects the listener to be a thinking person and an equal participant. Worst of all, you're probably only going to get 90% affirmation of your views from Larry rather than the 99-100% your used to getting from other hosts. So, yeah. I guess he's boring.
