It’s always entertaining to see a bunch of commie-symps trying to quantify a subjective notion such as “peace.”

You’ll never ever hear these dolts define what peace is to them. So I will. To a leftist, peace is willfully accepting tyranny in all of its manifestations.

You consider war to be peace? sounds very Orwellian. Having said that, when a country is at war on two or more fronts, I would not consider them peaceful. They may very well be justified, but peaceful they are not.

This is a prime example of why the old news media are losing market share. Some “activists” put out some weird piece of propaganda, and the media treat like legitimate news.

Disgusting.

This is further proof that Liberalism is the religion of indiscriminateness. Unwillingness to distinguish between aggressors and victims in conflict is a symptom of moral rot, at the core of which is a rejection of all value. Where there is no Evil, there can be no Good. If the same standard were applied to the US and Germany in 1945, the “Peace Index” would have adjudged America as more warlike for no other reason than that we were winning.

If America had won all the world-wide conflicts in which it is engaged at the moment, we would be at the TOP of the “peace index”.

It is only when there is half-hearted prosecution of war, that it drags on much too long, and a reaction sets in with regards to the rightness of pursuing the original conflict.

A fast, full-scale offensive and invasion, immediately subduing and incapaciting the leadership of the enemy, and a broad occupation of all facets of the organizational institutions of the defeated country, assures that a REAL peace follows.

If there is not the heart to do this quickly, and boldly, then there is no rationale at all for engaging in war in the first place.

Win big, win fast, or refrain from going in, if you are only going to be “considerate” of the enemy. You may be sure, the enemy has no intentions of reciprocating just because you were doing the “polite” or “gentlemanly” thing.

This ‘study’ is so full of garbage it reeks.

These fools who wrote this confuse “Defense” with “aggression”. They also equate the terrorists with the USA. Did Rosie write this study? Let me guess, these useful idiots would say the US was the aggressor and “warlike” against the “peaceful” Imperial Japanese and NAZIs in WWII.

Oh, the effects of drug use and communism....

“Abruzzese said the United States’ score was pulled down by the number of wars it is involved in, large numbers of soldiers killed on the battlefield and high defense spending”....L.O.L.! Thank you for that observation from the fruitcake section, Mr Zee Zee Top!

It comes from Vegetius. “Igitur qui desiderat pacem, praeparet bellum.”

All you other countries out there. If you don’t want us to attack you then leave us alone and don’t kill any of our citizens.
We have no compunction about bombing you into dust, just don’t provoke us. Leave us alone and don’t do anything to threaten our security and you’ll be fine.

But a high rate of incarceration indicates freedom?

So how many of those incarcerated are innocent, in your opinion, and should not be in jail?

This is remarkable.

I think it’s time for these bleeding hand wringers to consider what the world would look like today without a strong United States in it.

All this so called peace index proves is that there are a lot of people in this world who think it’s OK to lie down with dogs and get up with fleas.

Fools.

Consider the source of this “Peace Index” and who developed it and who is running it.
