Meanwhile, on the Internet...uver-search engine Google observed the day with a stirring graphical tribute on their home page....

Oh, wait...that must be in a parallel universe where their version of Google is patriotic and observant of things like Memorial Day and Christmas...

The MSM are not us. They live in a different country. It’s kind of a Canadian version of the US. Political Correctness rules, religion is skoffed at, and the military are seen as John Kerry pointed out, as a bunch of kids who didn’t study in high school.

Sometimes I tune in NPR on my car radio to just get a taste of their world view. It is condescending, conceited, and over-bearing. These people know TRUTH and if we’d just shut up and listen to them the world would be perfect.

If you email Google and complain, you get a letter that looks like they are taking your complaint seriously. But if you complain often enough, you see the letters are all identical with the name of the holiday changed.

Wait until you see Google’s stunning visual tribute to July 4th. I predict a watermelon and corn-dog theme.

Google has always been number one with me. I would not use another search engine. It must be nice to be great!

Don’t worry - if it was a Wiccan holiday or a Big Day on the Envirofundie calendar, Google would be all over it like a cheap suit.

I use Dogpile (http://www.dogpile.com/) They have a nice picture of the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier with three dogs bowing their heads. It’s a nice black velvet sort of thing.
