Did Ophelia actually win an election to sit in the state senate, or is she still serving because of the special election she stole (with dead votes) a few years ago?
She’s serving the term she was elected to last November, which is for 4 years. I predicted that even if Roland had been properly seated, which he should’ve been, it’s highly unlikely he would’ve won a regular general (he got only 28%, though that was the best a Republican had done there in many years).
