Ever notice how many Marxists teach Economics?
My only economics class was taught in a church university and the professor was definitely not a Marxist. My out-of-school learning has mostly come from reading Sowell, Friedman and a few others. But, scratch the surface and, unfortunately, a lot of teachers are at least socialist at heart, especially those who teach in the high school “soft science” courses. You ought to have seen my daughter’s U.S. history teacher—a Ph.D. from Berkeley. She was one of the reasons I pulled her out of public school for her last year and a half.
I had a Marxist prof who taught Ancient English Lit. He wore a red star on his lapel every class. And he wore the same clothes every class, all worker blue denim. Tenured.
By the way, he also allowed us to select our own grades at the end of the term.
