That would be a good lesson in critical thinking for the young to take what they have already learned and use it to prove or disprove junk science.
I remember reading about a Science Teacher who taught a class on day one of the year about a dinosaur fossil. He told them it was blue with green stripes. It sang a song a lot like a modern-day robin, and traveled in V-shaped herds. They also reviewed the skeletal structure of the animal.
The next day he gave them a quiz. He gave everyone who talked about the color of the animal, its singing, or the V-shaped herds a zero. The object was to teach them to critically examine everything they are taught.
