As the debate for the veil shows up again in Denmark, the "little Mermaid", a famous statue of Copenhagen, has been veiled during the night of Saturday to Sunday. The mermaid was found dessed up with a chador.
A walker found her Sunday morning at 5h30.

Dangus’ comment that the chador on the mermaid was a swipe at muslims does not mean that they are victims. It simply means (if I may, dangus) that someone is fed up with the muslims trying to impose their way on the west, and the jokester is trying to take it to its absured outcome.

A possible upside is that maybe, just maybe, the muzzies are developing a sense of humor.
Drzz, the picture you posted is a perfect example of why the little mermaid was wearing the chador. This is meant to rouse people to action who do NOT want to see this happen. That’s why I suspect it was done by someone who knows how to use humor to make people aware of the threat.

You have a point : danish right-wingers produced a LEGO (a game for children) which portrayed Muhammad having sex with 7 years old littel Aicha last year. So there is ground to suspect anti-muslim activities.
BUT the fact everybody dismiss the possibility of a muslim attack against the Danish values is very disturbing.
Remember : mulisms don’t want to destroy Denmark. They want to make it surrender to islam.
They don’t have to destroy the Little Mermaid. They just have to show Danish people that the Little Mermaid lives under sharia law.
I have been several times to the Muslim world. There they don’t usually destroy churches. But they act in order to let Christians think they live under islamic law.

Here’s another vote for the theory that it was a native Dane, with a sense of humor, poking fun at the Muslims.
