I care every bit as much about the constitution as Mr. Paul. Just not a pacifist. You get hit, you punch back hard.

Ron Paul voted for the 2002 Authorization for the Use of Military Force against those responsible for the 9/11 attacks. We got hit, Ron Paul voted to punch back hard.

But Deficit-Spending hundreds of billions of dollars on "Nation-Building" in Iraq is another question entirely. I did not sign on to Free Republic to support installing Islamic Theocracies around the world (and by defining the Koran as the Principal Source of Law, the Iraqi Constitution does treat Christianity as a Second-Class Religion).

That’s what I’m saying. Hard to support a man who gets it wrong on the most important issue of our time.

Ron Paul agrees. The reason that he is against the War in Iraq is because we went into Iraq with the motive of enforcing UN resolutions(and supposedly to find WMD). Ron Paul is 100% against the UN and speaks against the US enforcing 'international UN resolutions'.
