Romney governed in a state where the legislature was 85% DEMOCRAT. That means 15% of the legislature was Republican. You cannot judge his record as governor, by ommiting that very relevant, and most important fact.
He will not face the same challenge as President.
Furthermore, much of his current rhetoric does reflect his record.
He has moved rightward on several issues and is running on a conservative platform. Are you suggesting he should flop back again, so he is in agreement with his former positions, and thereby be accused of being a flip-flopping flip flopper?
Romney has evolved to a more conservative place. He isn't going back.
I can see that the word "evolve" is the primary Romney talking point now. Sorry, I'm not an evolutionist.
