Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, president of the ultra-conservative Islamic country that last week rounded up hundreds of women for not properly covering up, is accused of indecency for publicly embracing and kissing the hand of a former schoolteacher.
Ahmadinejad was photographed and filmed bowing to kiss the elderly woman's gloved hand and hugging her at a ceremony Tuesday ahead of Iran's teacher's day, prompting charges of indecency by the influential and hard-line Islamic newspaper Hezbollah.

I never thought I’d ever to come the defense of old Mahmoud — but he has run afoul of some very, very perverse thinking.
I’ll bet these sharia-enforcers never, ever have a good day. I can picture them, keyed up and scowling, their fingers poised to point out the slightest infraction of the law of “Allah.”
this iranian blogger was goofing on him - claiming the whole deal to be a big set up. Shorty supposedly picked his Granny teacher out of the crowd during the middle of his speech then walked down and kissed her hands.
The tip that it was all a big setup versus a spontaneous gesture was her wearing gloves. I guess you get a Get-out-of-sharia-free pass from kissing someone’s hand when they are wearing gloves...

That’s funny, I heard that it was “Mutton Mania.”
I thought this was a sweet thing for him to do, made him look like he might have a bit of human decency in him, caring that much about an old teacher of his after all those years. I am equally dumbfounded, finding myself actually feeling a bit of-sympathy?pity?-for the Iranian sociopath.
Is that the term use for describing how all the lamb’s wool got stuck to the crotch area of nutjob’s pants?
