Cuba's acting president Raul Castro gestures during the May Day parade in Havana. Cuban leader Fidel Castro was a no-show at the communist country's May Day parade, disappointing many who had predicted he would use the all-important workers' holiday to announce a resumption of his official duties.(AFP/Rodrigo Arangua)
