“If Rooty is your nominee, I will work against him. Abortion supporting, gun-grabbing RINO’s are not gonna get my support. Not now, not never.”

You reply is why I feel so pesimistic. I see a President Hillary or Obama in our future. It will become a hate crime to talk against abortion and they will bust your door down to get your guns but at least you’ll have shown “Rooty” how mad you are.
So are we talking 3rd party candidate then? Because a 3rd party candidate will never get elected. Not now, not ever.

Hey, the gay agenda that Rudy supports in word and deed just passed legislation through the congress that makes it a “thought” crime for Christian preachers to speak out against homosexualism as a sin. The Word of God as written in the Holy Bible is now a thought crime. And what makes you think that the abortionist/feminist Rudy Giuliani is above making it a thought crime to speak out against abortion? He’s already demonstrated his utter contempt for the first amendment. And the second, etc.

Or was your post sarcasm?

So work against liberalism in the primaries. Failure is not an option!

I’m pro-choice. I’m pro-gay rights, Giuliani said. He was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions. “No, I have not supported that, and I don’t see my position on that changing,” he responded. Source: CNN.com, “Inside Politics” Dec 2, 1999 http://www.ontheissues.org/2008/Rudy_Giuliani_Abortion.htm

ANDERSON COOPER 360 DEGREES (November 14, 2006)

RUDY GIULIANI (R), FORMER MAYOR OF NEW YORK CITY: I'm pro- choice. I'm pro-gay rights.

KING: Giuliani supports a woman's right to an abortion, and back in 1999, he opposed a federal ban on late-term abortions.

GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.

KING: Immigration could be another presidential landmine. Back in 1996, Mayor Giuliani went to federal court to challenge new federal laws requiring the city to inform the federal government about illegal immigrants.

JEFFREY: He took the side of illegal immigrants in New York City against the Republican Congress.

KING: Giuliani opposes same-sex marriage but as mayor, he supported civil unions and extending health and other benefits to gay couples. He also supported the assault weapons ban and other gun control measures opposed by the National Rifle Association.

GIULIANI: I'm in favor of gun control. I'm pro-choice.

Republican Big-Wigs Support Pro-Abortion Event in NY

Pro-abortion Governor George Pataki and New York Mayor Rudy Giuliani, who also supports unrestricted abortion, are co-chairs of the 2000 Choice Award Presentation to be held on May 30 at the St. Regis Hotel in New York City. The event is sponsored by the Republican Pro-Choice Coalition, a group that is campaigning for the removal of the pro-life plank from the Republican National Platform.

“I see a President Hillary or Obama in our future.”

If you feel this way about Hillary and Obama, why would you even consider voting for Rudy? He’s pretty much the same... He could very well be worse.

... if a Democrat were to be elected president in 2008, he (or she) would "wave the white flag" in Iraq, and America would suffer "more losses."

That isn't "fear" alone--
Rudy is ABSOLUTELY CORRECT about that!

Rudy may be wrong about a lot--but I think every THINKING person in America knows: Democrats=Surrender.

I vote out of fear too..

I fear a living God that can not stand the sight of evil. I fear not following God's word on NOT doing evil so that good might perhaps come of it later.. (Romans 3:8)... I fear denying Him three times before the cock crows... I know a man had better put a stone around his neck and drown before promoting hurting God's children.. Children so special that the angels that protect children are able to stand in God's presence.. (note: not all angels are equal, some are not allowed to stand).

I fear this nation has become so secular (and lost it's ability to judge rightly) and that human life has so little love from our fellow republicans that they would cast their lot of coins before the idol of power instead of God.

I will not vote Rudy... it is just plain and simple fear.. and of something worth fearing.

It wouldn’t matter if Guiliani had never thrown his hat in the ring for the fear factor to be a makpr consideration in this upcoming election.

By now, we all know how dangerous and destructive a Clinton presidency is. Bubba is a clown compared to his diabolical wife. I take the possibility of another Clinton presidency *very seriously*. You don’t think she has a snowball’s chance in Hades? That’s what I thought when she ran for senator.

The good news is Duncan Hunter is stepping up and publicly speaking his mind. If he can keep this up, and come across well in the debates, I think he has a good chance. So far, I haven’t seen anything to dislike about the guy.

Cynthia Tucker is the stupidest woman in any position of authority on any newspaper in the United States. And given the sharp competition from the likes of Maureen Dowd, and even reprints of Molly Ivins, that's a towering achievement.

Anyone who does not have at least a wary eye out for the next Islamofascist attack on the United States, just isn't paying attention current events in the world. Tucker has to pretend that such fears are irrational, because she is a non-thinking, knee-jerk shill for the Democrats.

The idea that someone who cannot think rationally should be editor of the Op-Ed pages of a (formerly) major newspaper in a major city, is a pathetic waste. Tucker is as far down as you can get from the late, great Ralph McGill, who made the Atlanta Constitution into a prize-winning publication.

Cynthia Mckinney Tucker can go suck an egg. she is the main reason I do not subscribe and refuse to read the AJC. I moved to Atlanta 20 years ago when she was about 33 years old. The same pictures of her shown then are the same pictures shown of her now.when is she going to admit that she is as old as me and show what she looks like now.

If I am looking for protection against terrorists, Rooty wouldn’t be the person I would vote for. He is a manufactured hero.

If I am looking for protection from Hillary, I wouldn’t choose someone that resembles her.

Rudy's pathetic statements bring to mind the Dickens character Uriah Heep (from David Copperfield).

Uriah Heep was notorious for wielding undue influence, a bounder who was always planning and plotting, ingratiating himself into the confidence of others.

Uriah Heep was obsequious, manipulative, and wormed his way into positions of influence. Uriah was a consummate con man, and not to be trusted.

Translated into the language of the popular culture, Uriah Heeps, like Rooty position themselves as amenable to conservative qualities of faith and compassion, but are insincere in these feelings, and use conservatives, and issues important to conservative voters, to advance hidden agendas and political ambitions.

Like Uriah Heep, power-hungry Rooty feeds on conservative victories, and deploys self-serving strategies to his own selfish purposes.

Conservatives are on to this (which is one of the reasons Rooty and his team evince an utter contempt for conservatives).

Christian conservatives are aware of whom they serve and watch carefully to see if promises made to them are empty.

Rudeo coyly speaks the conservative language to appeal to conservative values, but he is not a believer, just a latter-day Uriah Heep.

Doesn’t Giuliani favor amnesty for illegal aliens (among them terrorists) and oppose closing the border (thus, making it easy to get into the US)? Shows he is weak on national defense.
