Besides Eid Al-Fitr, the other major Islamic festival is 'Id Al-Adha or Eid al-Adha (Arabic, "Festival of the Sacrifice"), which is also known as 'Id al-Qurban or al-'Id al-Kabir (Major Festival).

Eid al-Adha celebrates the completion of the hajj (pilgrimage) rites at Mina, Saudi Arabia, but is celebrated by Muslims throughout the world. Eid Al-Adha begins on the 10th of Dhu'l-Hijja, the last month of the Islamic calendar, and lasts for three days.

Like 'Id al-Fitr, 'Id Al-Adha begins with communal prayer at daybreak on its first day. 'Id al-Adha is also a time for visiting with friends and family and for exchanging gifts.

Animal sacrifice. I would love to see the Left will explain their tolerance of this to their animal rights friends. We shall see, I suppose.

This just proves that if Harry Reid had said, “The War on Terror is lost” instead of the war in Iraq, he would have been right. The ruling class in this country is not so much worried about offending muslims as they are about what muslims might do if offended. Terrorist attacks around this nation would break the rice bowls of ALL politicians and bureaucrats. They would be PROVEN to be ineffectual, incapable of protecting the citizenry and therefore useless.
