In 135 AD the Romans renamed the province of Iudaea (Samaria, Judea, Idumea) as Syria Palaestina. Or in English, Palestine.

Primarily Samaria—my point was not all of Israel was called Palestine until the British renamed it in 1917..Contrary to the borders as depicted in pre 1967 Bibles...However, modern day revisionists have attempted to create the country “Palestine” in order to legitimize the Palestinians ‘rights’, and de-legitimize the rights of Jews. IMO, the Palestinians do not own title rights to the land of Israel. That is the title question that has existed since 135. Just because the Romans appropriated the Land doesnt’ mean that it is legitimate.
