And then he falls back on the classic liberal attack of referring to his opponents as brownshirts.
Just goes to show that Rudy boosters such as Al have a grossly-exaggerated sense of self-worth. And conservativism, for that matter.
Who knows? But if getting a lib nominated for the GOP presidency is more important than staying on at FR, I’m suprised he stuck around all these years.
The central plank of the Rudy platform is that he's the only one who can defeat Hillary. What happens to the Giuliani candidacy when Hillary doesn't capture the Dem nomination?
I respect Giuliani for his work as prosecutor and mayor, but that doesn't mean I'm ready to pull the lever for him in light of his stances on other issues. If he is the Republican nominee, then I'll most likely vote for him over the Democrat. That's still almost 18 months away, though.
Hillary got into the battle waaaayyyyy too early, and Clinton fatigue is setting in, as evidenced by the increase in her negatives. She should have waited until October/November, but now her base of individual donors is maxed out, and the blacks are getting on board with Obama.
Al didn’t bother to ping me either. I’m so saddened. /sarc
I didn’t realize supporting conservative Free Republic, conservative candidates, conservatism and the Constitution made me part of a “goon squad”. LOL Of course considering the source, I understand the crazed linkage.
Rudy Giuliani’s candidacy is definitely spliting Republicans into two opposing camps. The conservative camp of FR and the liberal camp of “ZOTSVILLE”!
