In hindsight, we see that for what it was. A coup. Keep in mind that was an incumbent president running against a business man.
This election has an entirely different set of factors. If there are 2 liberals (one with an R after their name) and an independent conservative on the ballot.....Who’s electorate is going to be split, and who do you think the silent majority of conservatives in this country will vote for? I for one, think a third party victory is entirely possible, ESPECIALLY if the two parties have ANY of their existing candidates.
Remember HG, we need to holler, loud, clear, and frequently the names of the unknown conservatives.
