Oh ... now socialists are NOT those who take money from the rich to give to the poor - Socialists are those who use political power for capitalistic motives. Only an idiot would call fascism "capitalist."
So a polititian who campaigns on creating a busness climate conducive to growth and prosperity, and who receives donations from businessmen based on his stated goals is a socialist. Interesting take ...
If you knew diddly about economics, then you would know that allocating confiscated funds for the benefit of the politically powerful does not optimize the use of capital and is destructive to total wealth.

"Fascism is an authoritarian political ideology (generally tied to a mass movement) that considers individual and other societal interests inferior to the needs of the state, Enriching political supporters through legislation "so that their contributors can cash in ( as you put it ) " would not be Fascism. Love the way you toss out the meaningless phrase "does not optimize..." as if the government EVER optimises anything... LOL
