That is how I’m seeing it. I’m not 100% sold on the “crime of passion” scenario - but I don’t have enough data to call it a planned hit - but the weight of evidence is leaning towards the latter.

From what little data is available: the first shooter could have been arguing with a female, not his girlfriend. They could have been affiliates from any number of organizations or alliances. I think without additional data it is presumptive to assert a "crime of passion" vis a vis "boyfriend/girlfriend" scenario.

Further, after the shooting, if so called perp was so heavily (and obviously) armed -- how did this shooter "disappear" into the framework and reappear two hours earlier without anyone noticing.

In re the "crime of passion" -- no additional data provided by whomever asserted the "boyfriend/girlfriend" angle -- as to what happened next. In a shooting situation, people run for cover, with an eye to maintaining, if even peripherally, on where the shooter is going, moving.
