******* Basha of Beautiful Skies, sired by ******* Red Bear the Hunter went to her reward peacefully while in my arms.
She was a good friend, a faithful companion, and a beloved family member for 18 years. I was the first person to touch her in this world. I was also the last person to touch her in this world.
This is as it should be.
She know resides with the Father of All Things in a place I know is endless fields of sweet clover, clear skies, fresh water, and lots and lots of slow, dumb rabbits.
She may have been born a dog, but she died a lady.
I shall miss her terribly.

Oh dear... I am so sorry. Sounds like you gave her a wonderful life.

Oh, what a loss. I don’t know what I’ll do when it’s time to lose one of my dogs. What a heart breaker.
I’m so glad Basha got to be with you to the end. I’m sorry for your loss, which I know is numbingly painful. (((hug))) It’s hard to lose a friend like that, even when you know it’s their time. I hope you enjoy your pictures and remember all the excellent times you had over the years. God bless.
My heart goes out to you L.
(((((((hugz))))))
I’m so sorry for your loss...I lost two of my best buddies last year.
Cut the leash that holds me here,
Dear friend, and let me run,
Once more a strong and steady dog,
My pain and struggle done.
And don’t despair my passing,
For I won’t be far away,
Forever here, within your heart,
And memory I’ll stay.
I’ll be there watching over you,
Your ever faithful friend,
And in your memories I’ll run,
...a young dog once again.
