NBC is caving to a confirmed liar, a noisy RAT Congressman. It’s PC carried to extremes. I never liked Imus, but he should have known that he would lose this one to the PC crowd. His multiple apologies were of no account in the affair.
I didn't hear the comments because I haven't been able to listen to the guy for years. But I read them though and he ought to get the boot.
I dislike Imus. But I don’t know what all the gloating is about here. Conservatives should be VERY disturbed by this sort of political correctness run amok

No question that this has been huge advertising for him. I bet his ratings will initially double.
I'm not a huge Rush fan, but what happened to him was shameful. In no way were his comments intended to cause harm.
Imus, on the other hand, made statements intended to be hurtful, inflammatory, and (let's just say it) racist.
Maybe they can get Jesse of “Hymietown” fame to substitute.
And I remember some of the shots he took at Rush.

Imus “revels in other peoples misery”. I’m wondering if he reveling in his own misery. I’m also wondering if the fathers of any of those “nappy headed ho’s” are thinking about collapsing Imus’ other lung. I admit that I would be.
