We have guard troops in all our prolonged wars.

We have 2 soldier sons doing convoy security with the NG. They are into a 125 extension after a year. They are well-trained and dedicated and under-appreciated by many, but they are focused on the missions. Every National Guard soldier is a patriot and many are spending their 2nd Easter away from home. They are vital defenders of freedom here and around the world. It is good to see them get a little recognition.
