Al Gore is looking to make a statement with his two new rides- one for the environment with his acquisition of the two brand new Mercury Mariner Hybrid.
Before his "green move" , Gore was driving around in a you guessed it a Lexus which most likely was not in hybrid form. On a side note, the Lexus model was most likely a LS- for him to able to trade it in and get two - Mariner Hybrids.

Does this mean that Al Gore is running for President again? And if he is--- shouldn't he be jogging instead?

I am all for hybrids. But let us be honest, a Hybrid SUV is not fuel efficient. If an SUV is a gas-guzzler, a hybrid SUV is an attempt to put lipstick on the pig and feel good about yourself. If you want to drive an SUV great, you can, but this hybrid SUV crap is just about the enviro-weenies feeling good about themselves while driving a normal car.

It sure took him long enough.
What a phatass phony.

Gotta wonder what kind of mileage he'll get when all the armor and bullet proof glass is installed.

"It sure took him long enough."
Bingo. Why not earlier?
Because his focus is on carbon credit trading.
Maybe he accorded himself some credits for this conversion, sells them to his company for cash.

Algore is NOT running for president. He is incapable of it. He can't even jog for president - he's too overweight. The most he can muster is a fast walk for president and then not too far.

oh man, one of my friends asked my why Gore was looking so flabby and had jowls and the response that rolled out of my mouth before I even realized what I'd said was "Why, those are his carbon sequestration units, of course!"
I was proud of myself for the rest of the day
