Was it the previous night? I know I've heard reports citing numerous witnesses who saw her getting extremely drunk at the hotel, where she hadn't been staying for very long, but maybe it was earlier than the night before her death.

KNOWING this about meth, WHY was someone, who earns a living based on looks taking a drug that will make her look like something out of horror movie.

Well it was one of the few parts of her body that she didn't expose for photo shoots. Who'd want to look at someone with tracks up their arms or legs? No one.

She was too out of it. Look at what meth does for you and top that off with sleeping pills - she was a zombie solely under the control of HKS and from what I heard on the news - she was isolated from others.

Methadone and Methamphetimenes are two different drugs. Both do horrible things to you, but just wanted to make that clear.

I was aware of them....then later it was reported that he has no insurance policies on her...of course that came from one of his lawyers. lol

You're right...if they do exist, he stands to collect, since her death is deemed an "accident." If they do exist, I wonder how much they're worth.

I figure that since she had been given so many injections maybe even with dirty needles, he figured if he called 911 he would look bad or possibly face some kind of criminal charges.

She was not self-injecting. With her ample figure, she could have only reached the top outer quadrant which is really more like hip than buttocks.

Right, besides...the abcess was in her left buttock. She's right handed.

You can do both sides but it involves a lot of twisting your torso. And you can only get to the top outer quadrant, which I think Anna would have called her hip. She wouldn't have had the pain in her "buttocks" as claimed. I do not think she self-injected. I don't even think she self-poured a glass of juice.

Methadone is a drug that initially was used to break heroin addiction, but frankly appears to me to be just as bad and in some ways worse. The only overlapping side effect I can see just by quickly scanning the information quickly is that opiates can cause an increase in saliva which can promote tooth decay. But nothing as dramatic as what you see in the pictures you posted.

Methamphetimenes are poor man's speed and the reason you can't buy Sudafed OTC anymore. They are a significant problem in many rural areas of the country. What you see in those pics is commonly referred to as "Meth mouth" and when you see it in real life...there is just no missing it. My community has a large agricultural component and we have meth issues that come and go regularly. It's an ugly, ugly drug.

Thanks ... I had read that it is the drug of choice for heroin users during pregnancy. Perhaps she was a heroin user? Either way, I beg to differ that the baby was NOT affected by the meth she took while pregnant.

One more thing: I haven't been following this very closely, but if ANS was a long-term Methadone user, she may have mistakenly thought she couldn't get pregnant because of some of the side effects—which would explain a lot, imo.

From what little I heard on the radio today as I was coming home, it would basically be miraculous if the baby was not affected by anything she was taking. I would guess (although I have no idea what all she was on) that any of the drugs she was taking...along with any alcohol she was drinking...would have a profound impact on the baby.

In fact, alcohol is one of the WORST things to expose a baby to. I have a friend who adopted seven (I think) children from one couple who were multiple substance addicts, and Fetal Alcohol Sydrome is by far the toughest to deal with.

In any case, it proves that addiction is ugly and base, no matter how much glitz, glamor and money it's gussied up with.

I wonder if a doctor has really examined this baby ... she must have gone through with drawl of some sort ... from how they "took care of ANS" ... I shudder to think of how they are taking care of any adverse drug with drawl. These people aren't real bright when it comes to taking care of people or perhaps they just don't care as long as they stay on the gravy train in some form.
