Just a quick report - little tired from setup, break down and joining the moonbat march (about 50 feet behind with "Say No To Communism" sign!)
2005 rally: 500 moonbats to 5 Pro Americans
2006 rally: 200 moonbats to 100 Pro Americans
2007 rally: 70 moonbats to 90 Pro Americans!
Gathering of Eagles was going full out by 9:00 am, setting up our rivers of flags at the Davis-Monthan Air force base. We had all four corners but conceded one (across from the air base) to avoid trouble. We had three corners. Our Gathering of Eagles - Tucson Super Truck with loud speaker mounted made things hard for the moonbats by constantly driving by with patriotic music or speech. So did other trucks with flags flying. They had no speeches that I could see and little of the big production from last year.
When they marched to the other Air Force gate some of ours marched on the other side, between them and the Air Force. They were always surrounded and never had more than one corner.
"See, we didn't chalk the sidewalk," one who reads my columns sneered to me.
"I figured that you wouldn't after I wrote that we would clean it off as soon as you left," I replied. I had water, soap and brush broom ready, however. My full report will be out Friday. From a quick glance looks like victory all around for the Gathering of Eagles! God bless America!
Great looking truck. Please, please ping me when your report is up.
