Maybe they meant the slaughter of tasty animals like pigs and cows and chickens and fish and, well... all the tasty animals that moonbats won't eat!

Your space-aged Hippie Spit Deflector will also make a terrific rain/snow protector for your noggin! Great creativity, BufordP.

To: iMacMan
Wow! Another talented perspective iMacMan's back at WRAMC! Thank you for your point of view! The one below is a special knockout, since the evening FReeps rarely have the chance to get a shot like this at night:

I pity the officers who actually have to touch that thing (Gael.) They should get hazardous pay for that kind of work. Yeah, they were wearing leather, which was good for her; but no latex gloves not so good for them. Unsafe socialism.

I got my Hippie Spit Deflector ® at Home Depot. But you can probably get one at any hardware store.

well the 1000 brake job will be done by noon.. (ugh)... that is what mom & live on for a month..I have that in account as it was to pay our property taxes for this quarter.
BUT got this email (i had asked him to check as the heat was not working)..I told him I needed to know of anything that would make the trip safety problem
@@@
Dolly,
We performed the coolant pressure test first this morning and found the following;
1)Intake Manifold Gasket Leaking.
2)Radiator seam seeping.
At this time the vehicle needs a new intake manifold gasket, coolant flush, thermostat, radiator, radiator cap, upper and lower radiator hoses. The intake manifold gasket leak makes the vehicle unsafe to drive because if the coolant mixes with the oil internally, the engine will get damaged. At this time I stopped him from working on the brakes, as this may help you make a decision on what you want to do with the vehicle. I am going to get the complete total from the condition report and send it to you in an email, but here is what the intake manifold repair and radiator repair would cost;
1)Intake Manifold Gasket, Thermostat, Coolant Flush = $754.00
2)Radiator, Radiator Cap, Upper Hose, Lower Hose = $722.00
I will send the other information soon.
@@@
I called him & he said this could NOT be done until Monday & he can't guarantee safety/will engine be destroyed/damaged in the trip? of the van if I take it.
So I need to make a decision on trusting God or being stupid, that God is giving me lots of clues here..
My friend John the mechanic up the street will take me to get the van when I get the brakes done & I will of course value his input..
I am trying so hard to be there gang.. I really am........

Egad! That's just awful. Prayers that you find a way, Dolly, without breaking the bank. A set of brakes shouldn't cost $1000! That's just wrong!
I know how badly you want to be there. God will find a way for you!

Thanks, AW.
Gotta say, I was pretty impressed with this view myself. This was only my 2nd daytime WRAMC FReep -- the other was when PHred PHelps brought the WBC gaggle to the main gate. We had our backs to the building that day, and I don't even remember glancing at that building once.
When I think about how big this facility really is, land area, # of buildings, etc., moving all this capability and potential to Bethesda Naval (and leaving the space to developers) doesn't seem to make any sense at all.

It was front & back & some related things. My neighbor said that was very in line with what was done...nothing on cars is reasonable.. and this is an old van with high mileage. BUT it is the better of my two vans. The other has a major gas leak & transmission woes
I know God will find a way if I am to go... maybe he wants me to stay home...
Knowing God's will is often difficult..
Well, I know what I have to do RIGHT now.. wash out the hair coloring that was to have been washed out 45 minutes ago. My hair will be the color of Laura's also!
lol...

What I don't like about the consolidation plan is that, in a time of terrorism, it will remove a military base that is close to the Federal area downtown, and enable a "two-fer" up at Bethesda instead. That's crazy.

Dolly, your safety must come first. If you do go on the road and break down, remember that you will be upping the ante, both of costs and dangers to yourself. I know you will make the right decision.
I believe that sincere prayers from afar are just as effective as being here, even though that may not seem as fulfilling to our human need for connection with one another. One way or another, we know you are with us.

LOL! I still look forward to pictures of your new "do"!
God answers prayers in many ways, but I will just pray that He wants you to be there to support the good guys. Sorry that happened with your vehicle.

Thanks!
YOUR pictures are the great ones! Especially the ones of your pets. I'm sure you know all the tricks -- the easy stuff: zoom in tight, set the cam to max # of px, least (or no) image compression; in PS: crop tighter, brighten as needed, resize so the browser doesn't have to do it, use unsharp filter so the details are sharp & finally (the tough part), save with enough compression so the dialup folks can load it but NOT so much that the sharpness is lost.
Oh, almost forgot, "glam blur" the ladies as necessary (of course, NEVER needed for FReepers)!
Sorry to hear about your van. I drive a 20-yr-old global warmer, so I understand completely -- but it's a LOT cheaper than a new one. SURELY one of those handsome singles I see in your pics would GLADLY drop everything and save the day.
