My apoligies Mr. Hunter for some of the vitriol on this thread, but this tends to happen quite a bit these days. Many people are conflicted over the upcoming elections; some are convinced only Rudy is capable of winning. There are also some (like me) who are confused why people are supporting an open liberal so soon before the primaries.
Needless to say Registered/PRND21, Duncan Hunter was not guilty of anything that Duke Cunningham was found guilty of. They were (and are, IIRC) close friends, true; that does not make Hunter guilty by association. As far as I know, the "questions" you have about legal proceedings are irrelevant, as they have already been debunked.
To be blunt, this is a welcoming thread for Sam Hunter, who is volunteering his time to contact us at Free Republic. This a tremendous honor. So cut the debates for once and simply ask questions. I will keep a .txt file of all questions asked, as well as one of the answers Mr. Hunter decides to give us.
This is the site that helped bring down Dan Rather. Let's not spoil the welcoming of a presidential candidate's son.

THere is very little vitriol coming from the Rudy supporters, so please do not apologize for what little there is. The anti-Rudy people wipe up the floor with us every day. Free Republic seems to be exploding right in front of me, and it is sad.
