Thanks for the tip never thought of putting white raisins (sultanas) in a carrot cake but sounds good I love sultanas.

Soaked in rum, they are great in apple strudel too.

I never make it (carrot cake) without adding crushed Pineapple (in it's natural juice), and Chopped Pecans and Raisins. I also only use cream cheese Frosting on top. This is certainly not diet Carrot Cake. Someone is making a Roast in my neighborhood, it is permeating the damp air, and It reminds me of Sunday afternoons growing up. Some day they will invite smell-o-vision and we will enjoy your Dinner vicariously.
