You don't need my endorsement, and I don't want to get into a religous debate. If you want to call yourself a Christian, go right ahead, you have every right. On the other hand, I also have a right to call a spade a spade and point out that the doctrines of the LDS Church are very much at odds with the basic docrtines that unify all historic Christian sects. That doesn't mean Mormonism is evil or anything. It's just different.
Not that this matters in the least to me when it comes to Mitt Romney, whom I strongly support. Christianity is not a political philosophy, so it is not necessary that a man be a Christian in order to be a good statesman. I regard Romney as a non-Christian, yet I also regard him as a great statesman and the best candidate in the race.
Well, he is the only one that has only had one wife and didn't live with two homosexuals; nor are there any pictures of Romney in a dress...
Sounds pretty normal otherwise...

So which is it Curiosity? Debate or not debate. I'm sick and tired of the "Drive By Bigotry" toward religion that is practiced by some here on FR. If you want to lay a claim like that at the feet of 12 million practicing Christians, then go ahead, but don't do a hit and run, it's unbecoming of an honest Christian like yourself
