Just what ARE Rudy's qualifications that make him the "BEST man to lead as CIC?"

Please, I'd really like to know.

Do none of our other Republican candidates even compare to Rudy's superior military/war experience and knowledge?

His only qualification is he has supported the Iraq war and hasn't flip-flopped yet.

Yet.

by the 'personal revenge' theory of presidential qualifications, anyone who lost a family member on 9/11 would be even MORE qualified than rudy to be president.

100+ replies and not a single tangible answer.

That's got to be a record.

Were aircrews armed during the Reagan and Bush 41 presidencies?

" If it's Giuliani vs Hillary, I'm sure not voting for Hillary."

Here's the thing that the Rudy supporters can't get through their heads, if by some oddball chance Rudy gets the Republican nod, do you really think he will be running against Hillary?

The Democrats are not "That" stupid. They are going to run someone who doesn't piss off the base and has a chance to pull from the Independents and maybe even some Republicans.

Hillary is the lightning rod to keep the hounds from attacking the real candidate. The only thing Rudy will do is give the election to the Democrats.

Liberals will never vote anything but Democrat, most Independents will not vote for someone who is anti-second amendment/Pro-Illegal immigration.

Rudy will be very lucky to even get 20 percent of the popular vote, and yet the so called "Conservative" Rudy supporters either do not care or have their heads so shoved so far up Rudy's rump(figuratively speaking of course), that lack of air is robbing them of reason.

Rudy is not electable, no matter how loud they yell. And while they are expending all this energy to convince us otherwise, good conservatives are going in need.

Yeah, but will he fight to make the military a safe place for homosexuals? Gay Rights y'know. Will he fight to get government paid abortions for military women and or their daughters? Abortion Rights y'know. Will he fight for cross dressers in the military? Cross dressers have rights too, y'know. These are the real questions. We want a fighter!!!

The answer to your question is:

Ungovernable Jungle + Mayor Giuliani and the NYPD = NYC today

I'll ask a question too.

Name anyone running for President who took on the scum at the UN like this:

Not only has parking replaced world peace as the U.N.'s preoccupation, the controversy has New York Mayor Rudolph Giuliani talking about bidding farewell to the venerable institution that takes up 18 acres along the East River. "I'm not a mayor who is easily threatened," he said, "so if they'd like to leave New York over parking tickets, we could find another use for that area of town. It's the most valuable real estate in the world."

I don't care for his position on most every issue, But you have to give him credit for his fearless fight against the Squeegee Men!

Thats all the qualifications I can come up with.

The attack on NYC didn't just happen to Giulianni, it happened to the whole nation. Just because he is pissed at the terrorists doesn't make him qualified for CIC.

What did he do in the wake of the attack to fight the WOT? At the risk of setting everyone off here, I remember him attending funerals and did a great job overseeing the cleanup of the twin towers. But that is mayoral duties, not presidential duties. Help me out here.

Dinkins didn't even care that 2000+ of his fellow NYers, mostly african americans, were being killed each year in street crime.

See what I wrote in #18, when it comes to "personal revenge" the Klintoons pretty much have the market cornered.

McPain flew jets in Vietnam, but most of his time was spent in a POW camp (very possibly aiding the enemy).

McCain could have come home if he had wanted. POWs return in order of capture, except for those who are badly injured. McCain could have come home YEARS before he did, and there would have been no shame in it. He stayed in hell because he didn't want to be used as a propaganda tool, and he didn't want to go home before those who had been POWs longer. I'd like to see you take 1% of the punishment he did. You're scum.

I think several of them do. I will not vote for Mayor Giuliani, and resent the aggressive tactics of his supporters who call the opposition pro-Hillary and question their patriotism in the War on Terror. It's not the recipe for an amicable party convention and unification next year.

That's fine, because as far as I'm concerned, NO mayor of NYC has ever been qualified for the presidency, which would explain why NO mayor of NYC has EVER been elected to any office higher than mayor of NYC.

What does THAT have to do with anything? The administration in office makes no difference.

Once again,,,

The 'gun grabbing', anti-gun bias of liberals like Rudy,,,,,WERE responsible for leaving our aircrews UNARMED and UNABLE to defend themselves and their passengers on that horrible day.

The operative words above are,,,"...The 'gun-grabbing, anti-gun bias of liberals like Rudy..."

He is qualified. He rape, bruglary, assaultings, and theft in NYC by 57%, he drastically cut taxes, in NYC at the beginning of his term one out of every 7 New Yorker City residents were on welfare, he cut that by over 640,000. People say he is too liberal in regards to abortion and gay-marriage, he does not support them, but he thinks government does not have the right to decide what someone can do with their life, which is a great belief. He only supported gun controll so much because that was crucial in a city like New York which had so much crime. He also practically destroyed the Mafia in the city. He will also be very tough on terrorism. He was quoted as saying that if Bin Laden was caught, he would personally kill him. This man is what we need.

the "whole nation" wasn't standing in the street in lower manhattan that day as people were jumping out of the buildings.

what did you want him to do in the wake of 9-11, order the NYPD to bomb the Taliban?

Have you EVER had a private conversation with any POW who was imprisoned with McCain? Because I have and they don't trust him one damn bit.
