"Why So Few Jews Vote for Republicans" Simple. Most Jews are urban-dwellers. Most urban-dwellers vote Democrat. Religion's got nothing to do with it.

Yes and no. I live in the far NYC suburbs and work in a profession that has a large percentage of Jews, and nearly all of the Jews that I know are left of center to some degree. The most radical self-hating Jews seem to be public school teachers and of course, college professors.

I believe that Jews tend to be liberal for several reasons: First, many of the Jews who were fortunate enough to escape Europe during the days leading up to World War II were socialists, commies, and the so-called intellectuals. Many settled in the NYC area and became active members of the Socialist Wokers Party, Communist Party, and labor unions. Their children and grandchildren grew-up with other leftists, and as they achieved success, they pursued careers in professions dominated by leftists such as academia, teaching, journalism, and entertainment. Many Jews are leftists because that's all they have ever known.

Second, during the 1920's through the 1950's, white-shoe Amercia was extremely anti-Semetic, and as a result, many Jews connected with the civil rights movement that began with Brown vs the Topeka Board of Education, and as we all know, the Civil Rights Movement was infiltrated and hijacked by commies, socialists, and leftist freakazoids.

In this entire thread so far, there has been no cooberation that American Jews bear a resentment toward Henry Ford. I am old enough to collect Social Security and have never heard of this resentment.

Hugh Hewitt had Dennis Prager on his show to discuss this report by the National Jewish Democratic Council. Prager said it is a small group that are part of the Democratic Party.

"The National Jewish Democratic Council (NJDC) expressed its deep concerns today about Republican Mitt Romney's decision to announce his candidacy for President from the Henry Ford Museum in Detroit, Michigan:
"NJDC is deeply troubled by Governor Romney's choice of locations to announce his Presidential campaign. Romney has been traveling the country talking about inclusiveness and understanding of people from all walks of life. Yet he chooses to kick off his presidential campaign on the former estate of a well-known and outspoken anti-Semite and xenophobe. Mitt Romney's embrace of Henry Ford and association of Ford's legacy with his presidential campaign raises serious questions about either the sincerity of Romney's words or his understanding of basic American history," said NJDC Executive Director Ira Forman.

Now, let's show them what liberal democrats say about them, let's educate them, so that they may understand that it is not to their best interest to support the Demorats.
