If, in the middle of our war against Islamic fanatics, the American public should elect somebody named Barack Hussein Obama to the Presidency, I'll retire to the Unabomber's abandoned shack and become a hermit.

Prime Minister John Howard...replied: "If I were running al-Qa'ida in Iraq, I would put a circle around March 2008 and pray as many times as possible for a victory not only for Obama, but also for the Democrats."

No wonder the left in the US and Australia hated Steve Irwin. Howard supports the WOT and is anti-left as far as I can tell. Steve supported Howard. I thought some of the lefty wackjob anti Steve reports at the time of his death were crazy given his support of wildlife appreciation. But now it makes sense.

If my memory serves me right, that nasty leftist, Mr.Keating, the former Aussie shadow PM was constantly attacking President Bush, and no one in Australia was saying that Keating's verbal brickbats (leftist lies) would jeopardize US-Australian relations.

Mr.Howard is spot on. The election of Osama Hussein Obama would embolden the terrorists, and would be met with jubilation by alQaeda fanatics.

Our so called leaders could learn a lot from PM Howard.

Hussein Obama's classy reply says much about him:

"The Democratic presidential hopeful said if the Australian prime minister was "ginned up to fight the good fight in Iraq," he needs to send another 20,000 Australians to the war.

"Otherwise, it's just a bunch of empty rhetoric," Obama said."

He should know about "empty rhetoric".
