I will admit I was being a little harsh. I don't think that they will necessarily be anything like an American conservative. If they are going to Spain to escape Venezuela then it isn't exactly socialism that bothers them.

Also, if the Venezuelan upper and middle classes had cared more about opportunity for the poor, Chavez never would have come to power.

Chavez is preparing to take over as de facto head of Latin American communism after Fidelito goes to the great paradise in the sky that he doesn't believe in.

Also, watch for Venezuela to descend deeper and deeper into poverty and Chavez to blame it all on "imperialismo yanqui".
