CACTUS, Texas — The streets of this small, isolated city in the Texas Panhandle are virtually empty nowadays, and “For Rent” signs decorate dilapidated trailers and shabby 1940s-era military barracks that just weeks ago were full of tenants.
Sales of tortillas and other staples are down. Money wire transactions to Central America have mostly dried up. The “Guatemalas,” as local residents call them, are almost all gone...........
Tens of millions of illegal immigrants invade the U.S. and only a few hundred are deported.

why have they not come to CALIFORNIA to start raids here.??
I can't count the number of towns in the USA that became Ghost towns or full of unemployed AMERICANS when manufacturing moved to MEXICO.

Because they'd get mobbed under by angry Mexicans. Here in Texas, we want them all gone. In California, you (the citizens) apparently want them all there and voting.

Piece of paper ... work name. I sincerely doubt that this "work name" was made up out of whole cloth. Somebody's SSN was stolen.
the trouble is that a ton of people here have just given up. After 187 was killed by Grey-out Davis, and all the mishaps, including now our Mayor Villaraigosa who apparently has ADD and cannot figure out he is supposed to be mayor and not superintendent of schools, I know a heck of a lot of people who just gave up and believe the Mexican people are the favored of the population, and there is no changing it. They are probably right with No one showing up to change any elections...
The rest of the nation will eventually have to deal with this too. these people are spreading everywhere. It is a cancer. You cannot just turn your back on it.

One of the problems we have here is that all an illegal needs to register and vote is a good mailing address.

The only problem I see is that the CEO, COO and CFO of Swift are not setting in a lice infested jail cell with a 400 hundred pound biker niknamed "meat" for a cell mate, other then that, no problemo.
