Though I would like to remind her that there should be no sentence at all. There is nothing Conservative about disregarding a jury's verdict.
Let the appeal process decide the agent's fate.

Let the appeal process decide the agent's fate. So if they were wrongly convicted, but an appeals court supports the conviction, you are OK with that?

I guess that explains the need for the (R) in your tagline.

In addition there is nothing conservative about disregarding 'habeas corpus'. There is no appeal without the hidden transcript. These agents should be out on appeal.

Reports are that the jury was tainted.
Appeal process? Yes, but not while the agents are in prison among the very people they took an oath to arrest!
This case is a cause celebre among conservatives because it is so clearly a travesty of justice.

There is nothing Conservative about disregarding a jury's verdict. There never should have been a jury to begin with. The outcome was preordained the moment the charges were filed. And the judge repeatedly excluded defense evidence and motions to ensure conviction. If you don't understand the injustice of this entire case then you are either a "former prosecutor", a fool, or a stooge. (all of the above? you would be in good company)
