Murder and graffiti are two vastly different crimes, Rudy Giuliani once said. But they are part of the same continuum, and a climate that tolerates one is more likely to tolerate the other.
Good point, Rudy.
Now, what about a climate not to mention a Republican presidential candidate that not only tolerates, but allows unelected judges to legalize the practice of delivering a child until only its head remains within its mothers womb so the child can be killed by sucking out its brains?
What about a climate where same-sex couples are given the same legal status as married couples, whether the resulting arrangements are candidly called same-sex marriages, or are semantically papered-over with terms such as civil unions or domestic partnerships?

Only because he doesn't mean it.
George Bush(both of them) (and Bob Dole) cured many die hard pubbies(LIKE ME)..
Hillary gets elected?.. so what.. odds are she will get elected ANYWAY..
Bush BARELY WON both times..
2000 he ran against a moron and in 2004 against a longfaced traitor..
How convient.. I refuse to be herded like a sheep(anymore)..
If Newt don't make thru the primarys I'm going 3rd party..
Newt seems to be the ONLY pubbie with gravitas..
The republican party is ALREADY fractured the RINO pundits are oblivious (as usual)..
2008 is Hillarys to lose.. She won't.. and Bush WILL NOT address the border..
Its Newt Gingrich or the republican party is thru..
Hope the Constitution Party will have time to do something..
before they are OUTLAWED.. and its leaders liquidated..

Unfortunately neither one has a prayer of winning.
The key is maintaining our current strenght or better in the senate. It doesn't matter what happens we can block, block, and did i mention block.
If Newt is the nominee it will be the biggest Republican loss since Goldwater. The big money guys and power brokers and Northeast Rinos will sit on their wallets and let him sink. You might as well face it, it's either going to be Mitt or Rudy with McCain as a long shot. My money is on Rudy.
Rudy's got a LOT of work to do to convince me that he's worthy of my vote.
Yeah, when it comes down to it, I'd vote for him over Hillary. But I'm sick of friggin' RINOs. And sick of the Mexican invasion, and excessive taxation, and homo celebration...
Rudy is not a serious candidate. He's been a federal prosecutor and a *MAYOR*. His record and positions are barely in the same universe as the Republican platform.
And anyone who stays home or votes for Hillary or Obama in november 08 is not a conservative either if Rudy is the republican candidate.
Anyone that would vote for any democrat or stay at home because the republican is not everything you agree with is not only not a conservative but hates this country.
I love my country more than I am a one issue conservative.
Having an IQ above 5 I know that while I don't agree with him or McCain on everything I know I agree with them on everything more than Hillary or Obama and it would be 10,000 times worse with one of them in the WH.
Of course we have the stay at homes who voted against our troops last November because they hate our troops.
Why is hating our contry conservative? And wanting Hillary in the WH is hating our country.
I also am pro life. But I am more pro American and am concerned with having the best president we can. With Hillary I know that we have no chance at all of seeing anything happening. With Rudy there is a slim chance.
Hillary will set pro life backwards. At worst Rudy will have it stagnate.
Rudy isn't my first choice either but I see no reason for personal attacks on him. Several people (not accusing you) immediately yell cross-dresser, abortionist, gun-grabber, and other simplistic insults when Rudy's name is mentioned.
It makes no sense to me to tear Rudy to pieces when it is possible that he will be our nominee. Why ruin him in the primaries so he is damaged goods for the general election? Do we want to destroy the only thing that might stand between us and a President Hillary Clinton?
I could see two good reasons to vote for Rudy. He gets it on the WOT. He would appoint strict constitutionalists to the court.
That's my point and why I will vote for any repub over Hillary or Obama or Edwards.
Rudy and McCain agree with me on other issues and will come closer to my stance than Hillary or Barack ever will.
I love my country more than I am a conservative.
And my oldest will be almost draft age when Hillary would leave office. That really scares me.
I will vote for him if he makes it past the primaries. Then, and only then, it will be to keep out Hitlery.
Since when is hating America conservative?
if you would vote to elect Hillary or Barack you hate america.
Let's not forget that Rudy is unqualified to be President, as he was not born, nor does he live in AMERICA!
That's my point.
I love my country more than I think someone has to agree with me on every issue.
And I know because I have an IQ above 5 that Rudy will come closer to agreeing with me on issues than Clintoon or Obama will.
At worst with Rudy we stagnate on abortion. With Hillary we'll be set way way back.
I support and actually will volunteer for Newt or possibly Hunter or Romney until the primaries. I like them over Rudy.
But I am voting for the republican no matter who esp over Hillary or Barack in November 08.
Another thing is our best chance at beating either dem front runner is either Rudy or McCain.
My country comes before anything else.
Yeah, other than that little Muslim fundamentalist problem, everything is freakin' hunky-dory.
