Newt if far more like Bill Clinton, than Rudy is and Newt has the same very bad negative score, if not worse, than Hillary has. And the positive numbers are also low for both.

Oddly enough, twice as many FReepers support Newt than Giuliani.

You know, oddly enough, that Keyes won every FR poll back in 99-00. Not sure what that means except that FR and the public aren't necessarily one and same when it comes to politics.

That's good enough for a re-post ... I like the prospect:

Fred Thompson hasn't declared, but should. He has been waging a stealth campaign simply by appearing as a guest host for Paul Harvey. He sounds like a man with his boots on the desk and a star on his chest. As a veep, he would make John Edwards look like Peter Pan. For the debate, Edwards might as well show up in green tights.

I scanned the current Pajamas Media Straw Poll .. sorry, it's a little fuzzy.

Can't believe Kucinich is ahead of HER .. and surprisingly, Thompson leads Tancredo, McCain and Hunter.

Yes, it does. More FReepers are conservatives than liberals.

NOT being for Newt says more about Quidnunc than about Newt..
Its Newts time, by default.. There are simply no republicans that can energize the party.. ALL other candidates will fracture the party, further.. ALL of them..

No northeast republican is worthy of the Presidency.. NONE..
Any that try will be defeated.. Newt has sinned, true..
But American republicans will forgive him, the others don't have the gravitas..

Its simply, NEWT or Hillary... that simple..

Don't bother, it would be for naught.

You know the truth it was done for charity but that doesn't fit your agenda so you post your snide remarks.

I don't come on Hunter threads to post what I know but you all come over here and post your spin -- what does that say about Hunter supporters? Bet you don't have a clue to his background except the spin you are given. You do know he is going to work real hard to get Roe v. Wade overturned. He should check the Constitution because the President can only nominate judges who are sent for confirmation in the Senate but if you have a litmus test for judicial nominees, then those nominess cannot make a ruling on that subject of the litmus test. The President has no power to tell the SCOTUS how to rule either. He pandered to the pro-life community and some of you swallowed it hook, line and sinker. Amazing how little some of you know about the Constitution and the three branches of Government.

Worth repeating. Thanks!

This is a partial transcript from "Hannity & Colmes," July 20, 2005...

COLMES: Now, on abortion — now, you are pro-choice, right?

GIULIANI: Yes.

COLMES: You're a pro-choice Republican.

GIULIANI: I am.

~snip~

COLMES: Now, Roe vs. Wade -- You are pro-choice. How important is it to you as a pro-choice Republican to have a pro-choice on the court as someone...

GIULIANI: That is not the critical factor. And what's important to me is to have a very intelligent, very honest, very good lawyer on the court. And he fits that category, in the same way Justice Ginsburg fit that category.

I mean, she was — she maybe came at it from a very different political background, very qualified lawyer, very smart person.

Get off your high horse and stop trying to incite flame wars.

You're a disruptor.

Even when pointed out 'it' is cherry picking and leaving out things, 'it' comes right back with the same crap. Why are the mods allowing the spam to stay up and be done on page after page? Used to be by the thread but now it is by page.

I bet 'it' is a Democrat! No thinking Republican would act like this for any reason.
