CAMP FALLUJAH, Iraq Coalition forces used guided munitions to stop an insurgent attack 6 km northwest of Khalidiyah Feb. 5.
Coalition forces were attacked with a rocket-propelled grenade which struck a Coalition vehicle. Immediately following the RPG detonation, Coalition forces were attacked with a heavy volume of small arms fire from insurgents in a building across the river. Coalition forces returned fire with small arms fire, machinegun fire and high explosive rounds. When the attack did not cease, Coalition forces used guided munitions against the attackers. The weapon hit the building, destroying it.
The insurgents attack continued with small arms fire from an adjacent building and Coalition forces used guided munitions to halt the attack. The weapon struck the building, destroying it and ending the attack. There were no reports of civilian casualties.

At some point the islamofascistojihadis ought to realize that their enemy (that would be most people on earth) is especially favored by God as evidenced by the remarkable ability we have to create ever more precise and fatal munitions and other tech including the iPod and Chevy Silverado and the IFJ ought to just give it up.

I wish Boeing would run ads showing US tropps blowing away Jihadists with their catchy theme song jingle.

Good. This should have been done in the first place. Any building from which the CF takes fire should immediately be leveled into a pile of jihadi-littered dust - screw returning fire with small arms.

At some point, maybe. For now, I want all of them to show up in Iraq and receive their deaths.

We did that in the Nam, burned the hootches that fire came from. Dan blather reported we burned whole villages on search and destroy missions.

The Marines he accompanied when he did that story (implying they'd burned the whole ville) told me if he ever accompanied their company again he WOULD be worm food.

Proof positive that no matter what we do, we'll get criticized. I say, take the lumps now and level whatever buildings we get attacked from, period. If it's in a crowded area, so be it. If it's in a mosque, so be it. We'll be in Iraq for another 20 years unless we take off the gloves.
I see that you're USMC 65-69. Thank You for your service to your country.
