Your plan makes sense. You find Rudy too 'liberal' so you will vote for a Stalinist. (Make no mistake: Whether you sit home, or vote 3rd party, you will be placing a de facto vote for hillary clinton.)
Rudy won't make the nomination... Too Liberal is why we lost Congress this last time around. He did shake up NY nicely, but being President of the U.S. is NOT like be the mayor of New York. As I said above, he's too East Coast. I'm sick of the "coasts" telling the rest of the country how to think, vote and behave.

You said you are voting for hillary when you said you wouldn't be voting for Rudy. (an R vote not cast for Rudy is a de facto vote for hillary.) In America, we have a 2-party system, 2 real choices. Any other option is simply an illusion.

Most of those basing their appeal on anti-Illegal Immigration stands LOST. Now the anti-Illegal House has been replaced by one which will vote with the now LESS conservative Senate on that issue.
The American electorate in NO way can be called conservative. Running people capable of winning only in Utah or South Carolina will not keep the White House no matter how much you might LIKE that idea.
