Exactly....IF Rudy were to get the nomination, he would have to have someone conservative and possibly southern or western as his running mate...

I thought Rudy did a TREMENDOUS job of showing not just conservatives and Republicans, but all Americans, what a fantastic President he would make. A strong, courageous, and effective LEADER in a time of war.
As a tactician, he also made a very wise choice in allowing ONLY Hannity to interview him and not letting that hamster Colmes get in his lefty digs.
Dick Morris, who is not always my favorite political analyst, got it EXACTLY right after the interview. He said: "McCain on Face the Nation was a Senator; but THAT (meaning Rudy) was a President."

A calculated lie is still a lie coming out of the mouth of the prospective candidate. If he didn't know the law had a life provision he should have known. If he did know and still played this lie gambit, he's just lying for manipulation of the public perception of him.

Hannity said that George Will has come out in support of Rudy. Something like the 7-minute test....in this day and age you want someone who can make a good decision in 7 minutes in case of a disaster scenario.
