I have no sympathy for the company. They signed this deal and they should figured out before they signed it that it might end up costing them more than holding onto the lands would bring in profit for them. Its no surprise they're being squeezed by the Left and the State Of California at the same time. Due to their own short-sightedness, they're getting what they deserve.

PL could log and live with the original deal but the NCWQCB came in later with more stringent rules that PL could not meet.We the taxpayers ponied up for the prime acreage and then the BLM shut us out of even visiting it. Now they limit visits to a few elite a week...
