I don't know how the Duncan Hunters or Tom Tancredos can hope to amass $50,000,000.00 to make a run for POTUS. All they can hope to do is influence the other "cash-flush" candidates in the primaries. If they do well enough, they can *maybe* even hope for a shot at the VP slot (doubtful scenario).
Time will tell.
Who needs money to capture the Republican Nomination for POTUS? All you need is the support of a toe-sucking columnist and a few dozen internet posters. If that fails, run as an independent and capture 0.42% of the popular vote like Pat Buchanan.
