MOSCOW -- Russia said yesterday it had delivered new anti aircraft missile systems to Iran and would consider more requests from Tehran for defensive weapons, immediately drawing criticism from the United States. The United States accuses Iran of seeking nuclear arms and undermining security in the Middle East. The United Nations has banned sensitive nuclear trade with Iran but there are no sanctions on conventional weapons. Russian Defense Minister Sergei Ivanov told reporters in Moscow that Russia had supplied the modern short-range anti aircraft systems TOR-M1.

Once again Putin's Russia is making it alarmingly possible for Iran to wage a regional war.

Iran, the same terrorist exporting Islamic dictatorship responsible for ordering the murders of American troops, Coalition troops, Israelis, Iraqis, Lebanese, Kurds, and countless other innocent victims around the globe, yet Moscow continues supplying the Mahdi mad Iranian tyrants, along with other Anti-American terrorist instigating states with the means to trigger the unthinkable.

I think we would end up fighting those in Afganistan or Iraq.
There needs to be another way to screw with Putin.

This is not the 'Joke of The Month Club'.

The Ahmadinejad dictatorship has reiterated it goal of exterminating Israel, yet Putin supplies Iran with nuclear fuel and Russian nuclear advisor's assisting Tehran with it's offensive nuclear weapons quest.

The Ahmadinejad dictatorship has also interlinked with Latin American communist governments who want to destroy America, yet Putin's Russian arms continue flowing to Iran and their communist cohorts.

Putin's actions make him an enemy of the free world.

We might consider giving Ukraine and Georgia "defensive" or "short-range missles" - it might help Putin understand the dangers of screwing with us - of course, the Dems, MSM and ACLU are all against us also and it will take some spine to promote that policy...

You have a point, however the majority of Russian arms sales head directly to America's worst enemies.

I like it but.. from that article:

"This demonstrates our resolve to do what we can to bring security and stability to the region," Aandahl said. "That's obviously to dissuade others from acting counter to our national interest."

..apparently, Russia doesn't consider itself "others".. but I really hope that we do.
