OK, I follow you point but unless you have been living under a rock it is the Media that castrated Bush. You cannot fight the media when it sides with your political adversaries. Yes Bush could make stronger decisions but it reminds me of how stupid people are that applaud Clinton when he with waggy finger on Fox news told America that he tried but failed to get UBL... Tried but failed which caused 911. At least GWB tried and succeeded in stopping Saddam Hussein from threatening America.... The Iraq war is a success story of dramatic proportion if you happen to believe that Saddam emboldened by UBL success on 911 would have eventually sponsored suicide missions in the U.S. which would have killed tens of thousands of US citizens.... with that thought process the whole Iraq issue is moot.

Agree wholeheartedly. The media is very culpable in this mess. I guess if what you really are saying is that the president of the United States is powerless against the media, then that may be worse than the iraqi mess.
