Well, I'm not in the habit of calling anyone an idiot, but I do have to question the logical skills of someone who would suggest that a boy would prefer (presumably) a childhood of sexual abuse with an abductor over that pesky matter of parental control at home. What extraordinary luck for Devlin that he managed to abduct a kid who was just itching to get away from his mom at the ripe old age of 11! I suppose he was just helping to liberate Ownby as well!
I thought it was unsettling to read that the man worked at a funeral parlor. If I were in charge of the investigation, I would check all the caskets of all the deceased from that funeral parlor while he was employed or had access.
