Reagan Man, huh?

I'd bet you didn't know there was a time when Reagan was pro-abortion?

Reagan never supported abortion on demand.

Just for the record.

The bill Ronald Reagan signed into law while Governor of California, was for the exceptions of rape, incest and to save the health/life of the mother. That accounts for roughly 5% of all abortions performed. It was the position Reagan held post Roe V Wade and for the rest of his public life. Its also the same position that PresBush holds TODAY. Reagan never supported abortion on demand or partial birth abortion. Reagan became America's first pro-life President, post Roe V Wade. Read Reagan's essay: "Abortion and the Conscience of a Nation", and get informed.

1967

California Therapeutic Abortion Act enacted. Allows a physicians' committee to approve abortions in cases where there is substantial risk that continuance of the pregnancy would gravely impair the physical or mental health of the woman, and in cases of rape and incest. Requires all abortions to be performed in accredited hospitals. Prohibits abortions after 20 weeks gestation. Also, causes Penal Code sections on abortion to be amended to exempt abortions which are in compliance with this act.

I wouldn't have a problem voting for Romney....I might even end up being enthusiastic about it. ... but, I'll let it simmer for a while before I plant myself too firmly in his corner,

Not only that. He also had been a staunch New Deal Democrat and a labor union organizer.

[Not to mention that during his first gubernatorial term, he had several gays on his staff. And he was a friend of Rock Hudson, the famous Hollywood gay.]

Ronald Reagan didn't have YEARS of liberal politics to going against him though..he maybe at one time was pro-abortion, though I don't know how true this is or to what degree, but at least when he came around it wasn't on a whim just to win the title of "President #44".
!

On a word if ANY of this is TRUE: I'll never vote Romney because he wouldn't be any better than a dem..I don't care what Anyone says!

This article isn't about Reagan and as someone who has been mostly on the fence regarding Romney's candidacy, I find it most damning.

I'd bet you didn't know there was a time when Reagan was pro-abortion?

But not when it mattered
