Yeah, read it and my troll meter had been doing flips all night. But I was waiting for something major to be said, before I called in a Mod.

They think they are so crafty, but their ideology proves otherwise.

They ALWAYS think that they know more than we do, but they don't.

This one was smart enough to know where the line is, though and he never did cross it. He just looked like an ill educated kid; which is what he is.

Not bad, but he wasn't your typical troll. He managed to not cross the line; just look like an idiot. And if people here got zotted for looking like an idiot, FR would have a whole lot less posters! LOL

I'd bet you didn't know there was a time when Reagan was pro-abortion?

But not when it mattered

Illegitimate children.

I guess Thomas Jefferson would be unworthy of the office of President today.

I have lotsa arguments with Reagan Man, particularly regarding economics. But he, like many here, see Reagan as the gold standard. Right now, there looks to be very little in the 08 candidates that we can get excited about. Our goal should be to elevate a candidate who has that over-arching conservative vision, and we need to fight those battles this year, so we get a candidate that both the Reagan Mans and the Howlins of the world can support. That should be our goal. So let the arguments ensue, but we all need to keep that in mind.

Let me get this straight....you will not vote for anyone other than a bible thumper? You can't wrap religion around everything. I happen to be a Christian with the utmost moral values and standards. So before you start, don't label me an athiest, agnostic, et al.

There are things that I don't like about every candidate in question. I just have to boil it down to those I just couldn't get over. I can't stand John McCain but you can bet your a$$ I will take the lesser of two evils if he's our guy vs. Hitlery, Edwards or Obama. This staying home crap cost us control this past November and it makes me sick.

Hunter and Huckabee are great conservatives. They have ZERO name recognition and if you have ZERO name recognition in January of 2007 for the 2008 election, then you have ZERO chance of winning the ticket.

I will tell you this right now...if everybody takes your position on the "candidates" we think will be on our ticket, say hello to President Clinton.

For Christsake, when are you people going to realize that the perfect candidate isn't out there.

Huh. Is big government cutting 1.6 billion of spending of a 25 billion dollar budget in a single year? Wait, I get it. This is one of those games where words mean their opposite. Ok, ok I'll try one. You have a clue.

If putting in place socialized medicine in your state doesn't make a you big government liberal, nothing does. Mitt Romney is a big government liberal.

I think it's great that Romney comes right out and says he was wrong in the past and he changed his mind. Took guts.

You might be right--if I believed a word that came out of Romney's mouth. I was living in MA when Romney ran against "the swimmer" for senate. He made himself into the very portrait of a pathetic liberal to attempt to unseat Tubby Teddy. It didn't work, but it left me with the image of him as a politician that will say and do anything to get elected--i.e. a phony.

Seems to me like he's still dancing the same jig.

... I'm an atheist from DU who came with the intention of trolling and stirring up trouble. Kept this account for a while. I'm not the idealistic fool I've been playing here, nor the monster my posts suggest. I'll be banned, c'est la vie. ...

This whole thread's goal is division, so your effort is like a double negative when you admit you're a fifth columnist. Double negative/positive - positive in that it re-affirms the belief that you scummy DU ilk have about as many pond scum here as there are honest members. Acting the caricature just to embarrass and divide.
