Well, it's important that the President nominate some new people now, then. I'm not glad they were stonewalled, but I would rather Bush appointees in these seats than Democratic ones.

Don't hate me but.....It`s very clear to me who`s fault this all is,ie judges withdrawing.
The (so called) Republicans, that got bent out of shape over immigration, to the point that they joined in on the Bush bashing that lead to the Democrat victory last Nov.The so called Republicans that voted Democrat or that did not vote at all are responsible IMHO.
Perhaps you voted Republican, but continued to Bush bash along the way.
Republicans that voted for Web in Virginia are responsible,or the folks that fell for Conservative Democrats of any type are responsible IMHO.
These same people I hope, will hang their heads in shame when President Bush is not able to get a high court judge confirmed.
